FM Web Central 15 Customization/Publishing
FM Web Central 15 and ARCHIBUS/FM V.15 Windows Based is entirely a different toolset altogether. Although both of them uses the same database, the way the data is manipulated and collated is different from one another. Guess what, the price is also different. I can’t disclose the price tag for the software as my job is just to analyze and seek out ways on how the software can be suited for our existing and potential clients. We installed FM Web Central 15 without the windows based ARCHIBUS/FM V15 and it works. Well, we read about it on ARCHIBUS FAQ but we need to test it by ourselves to believe it. Since our team is very small (3 person altogether; 2 person is the application specialist while another is doing data entry), we were unable to do a lot of testing (because of time constraint) eventhough we had a lot of ideas to play around. Recently, we had to prepare a demo model to be presented to one of our client. During the development phase, we encountered a technical problem. We apparently managed to solve the technical issue. The problem was only a minor script linking. Experienced webmaster could have detected this problem pretty quickly. More practice…more practice..
