Obtaining AutoCAD Drawing Using Laser Scanning Technology
I’ve been playing around with Google Video and the video below is what I’ve produced on one of SIMEK video presentation:
In this video, a laser scanning device is used to scan an area including the building in that particular area. Initially the building doesn’t have any drawing. Once the scanning is complete, a computer rendering software is used to simulate the exterior design. The AutoCAD drawing is derive from the data obtained from the scanning process.
